(Nov. 17, 2010) - Infiniti today announced that it has received two prestigious honors in the 12th annual ALG Residual Value Awards - the overall "2011 Best Luxury Brand" and "Best Luxury Fullsize Utility" for the 2011 Infiniti QX56. The ALG Residual Value Awards recognize the brands and vehicles in each industry segment that are predicted to retain the highest percentage of MSRP after a conventional three-year period.

Award winners are determined through careful study of the competition in each segment, historical vehicle performance and industry trends. Vehicle quality, production levels relative to demand, and pricing and marketing strategies are among the key factors that affect ALG's residual value forecasts. Awards are made in 19 vehicle categories and also for the two brands with the highest overall predicted residual values among all mainstream and all luxury vehicles. This year's awards are based on 2011 model year vehicles.

"The new QX56 blends a luxurious and comfortable interior with cutting-edge technology and impressive power. These attributes were major factors in its finish at the top of the luxury fullsize utility vehicle category," added Sundaram.

- G Coupe Derivative is First in a New Line of Vehicles Crafted for High Performance -

Infiniti today announced its rumored specialty-performance vehicle collection, the Infiniti Performance Line™. The first production vehicle from this group, the 348-horsepower 2011 Infiniti Performance Line G Coupe, debuts tomorrow evening at an exclusive event at the 60th annual Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. It joins the Infiniti line of performance luxury vehicles at Infiniti retailers nationwide in December.

The Infiniti Performance Line, or IPL, offers a new level of premium performance for Infiniti vehicles, focusing not just on engine power and acceleration, but also on redefining total vehicle performance. IPL promises unique driving attributes with exclusive designs, different from other Infiniti models in each selected Infiniti line. The 2011 IPL G Coupe is the first of what is expected to be a range of IPL performance vehicles in the future. 

The 2011 Infiniti M, which is available in M56 and M37 models, offers greatly enhanced style, performance, luxury, craftsmanship and technology.  It went on sale March 18th at Infiniti retailers nationwide.

The Infiniti M interior features standard Fine Vision electroluminescent gauges, a 7.0-inch color vehicle information display, Infiniti analog clock, leather-appointed, heated 10-way power driver and front passenger's seats, and a dual occupant memory system.

Also standard on all 2011 Infiniti M models is Active Noise Control, which uses sound to delete sound ? generating "canceling" sound from four door speakers (and subwoofer for models equipped with a Bose® sound system) to reduce unpleasant engine harmonics.  Other available Infiniti M technology includes a next-generation Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System with 8.0-inch touch-screen display, a Bose® 2-channel 10-speaker premium audio system, heated steering wheel and climate-controlled front seats.

A premium Bose® Studio Surround® sound system with digital 5.1-channel decoding and 16 speakers and semi-aniline leather are also offered, along with genuine White Ash wood trim that has been enhanced with real silver powder.  The Infiniti M's available Forest Air™ system attempts to recreate the refreshing climate and natural breezes of a relaxing forest setting, with the Breeze Mode providing a natural airflow feeling by gently and subtly varying the airflow from the upper and front air vents.
